The famous Lighthouse of Alexandria was the youngest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It is said to have been the first lighthouse to be historically documented. It stood on the island of Pharos near the Egyptian coast, west of the Nile. There it was part of the boundary of the port of Alexandria. Two earthquakes destroyed the tower in the 14th century.
This model kit was created by designer Klaus Bergner. It is very detailed and has a warm color scheme. The kit includes assembly instructions in English and illustrated assembly instructions.
