The Tempel of Vesta stood on the Roman Forum in Rome. The Vestal Virgins, the priestesses of the temple, kept the eternal hearth fire there. Vesta was the goddess of the house and the hearth fire. The building allows a view inside: through the roof cut-out and the portal.
